Store Keeper

Role Overview

This Store Keeper position with Noor Al Ain Group in Abu Dhabi is responsible for the day-to-day management of materials, supplies, and equipment within the store. The role ensures that inventory levels are accurately tracked, items are stored properly, and requests from various departments are fulfilled promptly. Efficient storekeeping directly supports the group’s operational flow by preventing stock shortages and reducing waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems, updating stock movements and balances in real time.
• Pick, pack, and issue materials to internal teams or workers as requested, ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched.
• Organise the store layout by categorising items, labelling shelves, and rotating stock to avoid expiry or damage.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stocktakes to reconcile inventory discrepancies and report variances.
• Monitor stock levels against minimum reorder points and alert the purchasing department when replenishment is needed.
• Ensure the store area remains clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports on stock status, consumption patterns, and any operational issues encountered.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Indian nationality (as specified by the employer).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar inventory control role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain or storekeeping is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and stock handling.
• Familiarity with basic inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for logging and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures without constant supervision.
• Good physical stamina to handle lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods in a store environment.
