Role Overview
As a Store Helper, you will support the hotel’s Purchasing Team by receiving, arranging, and moving supplies used across daily operations. Keeping stock areas orderly and goods correctly handled helps departments access what they need and keeps hotel supply activities running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Help receive incoming deliveries and check that goods are placed in their designated storage areas.
- Arrange supplies so they are easy to locate and stored appropriately.
- Assist with stock movement, distribution, and routine inventory handling.
- Keep store and warehouse spaces clean, tidy, and free of unnecessary obstructions.
- Handle materials carefully and follow safe workplace practices.
- Work with Purchasing Team colleagues to respond to day-to-day supply and storage needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Previous entry-level experience in a storeroom, warehouse, or stock-handling role is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic inventory handling, stock organization, and material storage.
- Good organization and attention to detail.
- A cooperative attitude and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Comfort working at a steady pace in a busy hotel environment.
- Awareness of safe material-handling procedures.
