Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, support in-store promotions, handle transactions, and help maintain accurate inventory levels. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and can work independently while being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service – Assist customers with product and promotion inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Execute in-store promotions and activations – Drive sales by effectively presenting and promoting featured products and offers.
• Handle M‑Pesa and card transactions accurately – Operate the POS system to process payments and maintain cash handling integrity.
• Receive stock deliveries and monitor inventory – Check incoming shipments, track stock levels, and request replenishments as needed.
• Keep accurate sales records – Prepare regular sales reports to support store performance analysis.

Skills & Qualities

• Prior retail or customer service experience – A proven ability to assist customers and handle sales transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Able to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Reliable, well‑organized, and able to work independently – Takes initiative and manages tasks efficiently without constant supervision.
• Comfortable with POS systems and basic sales reporting – Experience with point‑of‑sale software and data entry.
• Willingness to work weekends and shifts as required – Flexibility to accommodate store operating hours.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the country. Availability for both weekday and weekend shifts is essential.
