WeSource is looking for an experienced Senior Video Technician to support events, exhibitions, and live production projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in professional video systems and hands-on experience managing video operations for large-scale events.
The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, operating, and troubleshooting professional video equipment, including LED screens, projection systems, video processors, switchers, and media servers. The role also involves supervising technical teams and ensuring smooth execution of indoor and outdoor events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, test, and operate professional video systems for events and live productions.
• Manage LED screens, projection systems, video processors, switchers, and media servers.
• Lead video setup, testing, commissioning, and dismantling activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and live events.
• Supervise and guide Video Technicians, freelancers, and contractors.
• Coordinate with Technical Production and Project Managers for event requirements.
• Maintain equipment, inventory records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards.
• Support indoor and outdoor events along with required site visits.
Requirements:
• Proven experience working with professional video systems and live events.
• Strong knowledge of LED displays, projection systems, video switching, processing, and media servers.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum High School education.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Relevant technical or video production training is preferred.
• Ability to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Live event video production and technical operations.
• Video equipment setup, troubleshooting, and system configuration.
• LED screens, projection systems, media servers, and video processing
