Senior Joinery Estimator

Role Overview

As a Senior Joinery Estimator, you will develop project pricing for joinery and interior fit-out work, translating drawings and specifications into measured quantities and costed proposals. Your estimates will help BW Interiors prepare competitive tenders and make informed decisions about materials and project costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build detailed estimates for joinery and interior fit-out scopes, using project drawings and specifications to define the work involved.
• Complete quantity take-offs and check measurements and scope details for accuracy.
• Prepare tender pricing and contribute to bid documentation and submissions.
• Request, compare, and assess material and subcontractor quotations to establish appropriate pricing.
• Review projected costs and identify practical opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Work with design, project, and procurement colleagues to clarify scope and align estimates with project requirements.
• Keep pricing information and estimation records current and organised.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in joinery estimation; experience in the UAE is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of joinery take-offs, material pricing, tender preparation, and cost management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications for interior fit-out work.
• Sound numerical and analytical skills, with careful attention to estimating accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working across project, design, and procurement teams.
• Able to manage estimating tasks independently and meet tender and project deadlines.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, or a related discipline is indicated as an estimated qualification.
