Role Overview
This internship places you directly at the heart of a fast-moving property sales operation in Kamakis, where you will help turn inbound interest into confirmed plot reservations. Day to day, you will combine phone-based client follow-up, social media engagement, and on-the-ground support at site viewings, while keeping every interaction accurately logged in the company CRM. Your work matters because it keeps the sales pipeline active, gives buyers a confident first impression of the land projects, and directly supports the team's revenue targets through commissionable sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a steady flow of prospective plot buyers through referrals, social media outreach, direct calls, and participation in local expos and community activations.
- Log incoming leads into the CRM, qualify them by interest and budget, and route serious buyers to senior sales staff for formal site appointments.
- Run structured follow-up phone conversations with land investors, renewing their interest and answering questions about plot boundaries, pricing, installment plans, and surrounding infrastructure.
- Organise and lead property viewing trips, confirm client attendance before departure, and guide prospects through the physical inspection experience.
- Prepare reservation forms, quotations, and title-processing paperwork, and assist senior colleagues during negotiations and transaction closing.
- Track reservation fee receipts and follow up with clients on upcoming installment payments to keep cash flow on schedule.
- Support outdoor marketing drives by distributing flyers and materials, while sharing active project listings across personal and company social media channels.
- Generate daily lead logs and weekly activity reports, flagging customer feedback on pricing or amenities for management review.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in marketing, business administration, sales, real estate, commerce, or a closely related commercial field.
- Open to recent graduates or students seeking an attachment or entry-level internship placement.
- Working knowledge of common social media marketing platforms and basic CRM data entry practices.
- Availability to work on-site in Kamakis, Kenya, including comfort with outdoor site viewings and field activations.
- Self-driven attitude, motivated by performance-based commission rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
- Strong organisational habits and the ability to juggle multiple client inquiries and follow-up schedules without losing track of details.
- Confident communicator, both in writing and in person, capable of presenting property information clearly to potential buyers.
What We Offer
- Practical exposure to the full real estate sales cycle, including land sale negotiations, title transfer processes, and marketing pipeline management.
- A monthly stipend of Kshs. 15,000 alongside uncapped performance commissions for every successful plot sale contribution.
- Direct mentorship from experienced property sales leaders, with strong performers considered for future full-time employment opportunities.
