- Build and execute a proactive sales pipeline for the hotel's 16 conference and banquet venues, tracking leads from first enquiry through contracting and post-event follow-up.
- Set clear performance standards for the sales and marketing team, including individual booking targets, conversion rate benchmarks, and daily activity expectations.
- Partner with the revenue management function to shape pricing strategies, inventory allocation, and demand forecasting for both transient and group business.
- Coordinate closely with the Food & Beverage and Operations teams to design competitive event packages, confirm logistical details, and ensure seamless on-site delivery.
- Oversee all brand-building activity, including social media content, public relations outreach, digital campaigns, and promotional offers, ensuring a consistent voice across channels.
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and campaign performance; use these insights to adjust strategies and build monthly commercial reports for senior stakeholders.
- Manage contract negotiations, credit terms, and payment follow-ups in partnership with the finance department to protect revenue and minimise receivables risk.
