Job Description

Regional Sales Manager – Microfinance

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive disbursement growth, and build high-performing teams across the region. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong track record in financial services sales management, talent development, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve a minimum monthly regional disbursement target of KES 10 million.
  • Recruit, onboard and nurture Sales Team Leaders and Sales Agents across the region.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through continuous recruitment and succession planning.
  • Set clear performance targets and hold team members accountable.
  • Drive employer acquisition and market expansion.
  • Monitor productivity, conversions, portfolio quality and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Credit, HR, Marketing and Operations to deliver regional objectives.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
  • Additional professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, MBA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales leadership experience in microfinance or financial services.
  • Proven track record in recruiting, developing and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation and relationship management skills.
