Regional Sales Manager – Microfinance
We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive disbursement growth, and build high-performing teams across the region. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong track record in financial services sales management, talent development, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve a minimum monthly regional disbursement target of KES 10 million.
- Recruit, onboard and nurture Sales Team Leaders and Sales Agents across the region.
- Build a strong talent pipeline through continuous recruitment and succession planning.
- Set clear performance targets and hold team members accountable.
- Drive employer acquisition and market expansion.
- Monitor productivity, conversions, portfolio quality and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Credit, HR, Marketing and Operations to deliver regional objectives.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
- Additional professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, MBA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales leadership experience in microfinance or financial services.
- Proven track record in recruiting, developing and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation and relationship management skills.
