Job Description

Role Overview

This role places an experienced Property Manager at the heart of a Westlands-based real estate operation, responsible for maintaining strong relationships between property owners, long-term residents, and internal service teams. Day to day, you will be the first point of contact for landlord requests, tenant concerns, maintenance follow-ups, and the smooth transition of units as tenants move in or out. Your work ensures property portfolios are well cared for, owners remain confident in the management, and residents experience minimal friction throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own direct communication with property owners and landlords, providing clear updates on unit status, finances, maintenance progress, and any issues that need their attention.
  • Manage the full tenant lifecycle: handle inquiries, process lease renewals, coordinate move-outs, conduct exit inspections, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Act as the escalation point for unresolved disputes, complaints, and complex requests from landlords or residents, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
  • Coordinate planned and emergency maintenance by briefing internal technical staff or external vendors, obtaining landlord approval for major costs, and verifying the quality and completion of every job.
  • Oversee new property intake by performing initial unit inspections, compiling inventory records, arranging utility connections, and coordinating key handovers.
  • Manage property exiting procedures, including security deposit reconciliation, repair sign-offs, and final handover paperwork for owners and tenants.
  • Work closely with housekeeping, finance, maintenance, and reservations departments to make sure landlord and resident requirements are fulfilled without unnecessary delays.
  • Maintain accurate digital records of maintenance tickets, inspection outcomes, lease agreements, and property condition reports for auditing and reference.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Customer Service, Public Relations, or a related discipline; a Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality or F&B Service will also be considered.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in client relations, account management, customer service, or property administration.
  • Prior experience in real estate, serviced apartments, property management, or hospitality operations is an advantage.
  • Strong listening and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust among owners, tenants, and internal departments.
  • Practical troubleshooting mindset for handling urgent maintenance issues and tenant grievances calmly and methodically.
  • Highly organised with a habit of following through on tasks, strong attention to detail, and comfort handling multiple deadlines at once.
  • Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.
