Project Manager - AI & Automation

Role Overview

This project management role turns technology initiatives involving external vendors into delivered, working outcomes. You’ll coordinate people and processes from kickoff through launch, keep progress and risks visible, and make sure technical responses are checked and documented rather than taken at face value.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate technology projects with external vendors, tracking milestones, decisions, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Keep vendors and internal stakeholders moving through consistent, respectful follow-up, escalating blockers when needed.
• Test APIs, compare expected and actual responses, and record findings clearly for relevant teams.
• Shape unclear or inconsistent ways of working into practical steps, templates, and repeatable project cycles.
• Monitor project information in Excel and dashboards, using basic analysis to identify progress issues or emerging concerns.
• Write concise status updates that explain what has happened, what needs attention, and what comes next.
• Bring forward ideas for improving delivery, and guide projects through launch while addressing problems as they arise.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least four years of project management experience, including a minimum of two years delivering technology projects with external vendors.
• A working understanding of APIs, including the ability to test them, compare responses, and document results.
• A process-minded approach: able to turn messy work into clear, repeatable ways of operating.
• Experience taking projects from kickoff to launch. Be prepared to discuss two examples, including what went wrong and how you responded.
• Strong, structured follow-up skills and the confidence to pursue actions with vendors and senior colleagues while maintaining good working relationships.
• Curiosity and initiative, with the ability to contribute ideas as well as execute plans.
• Clear, concise written communication.
• Comfort using Excel, interpreting dashboards, and carrying out basic data analysis.
