Description:
Hepton Electromechanical Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement Officer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in procurement within the MEP or construction industry who can effectively manage sourcing activities and support project operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring construction and MEP materials, coordinating with project teams, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely availability of materials. Candidates currently residing in the UAE are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and procure construction and MEP materials.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery progress.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain supplier relationships and accurate procurement records.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the MEP or construction industry.
• Good knowledge of local UAE suppliers and the construction market.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Procurement processes and supplier management.
• Construction and MEP materials.
• ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
