Job Description

Job Title: Procurement and Logistics Officer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, coordinating logistics and inventory, and ensuring efficient supplier and site coordination. You will also handle reporting and administration to support compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Support

  • Source materials and obtain supplier quotations.
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.

Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate material deliveries to ensure timely availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate logistics documentation.

Supplier & Site Coordination

  • Liaise with suppliers and site teams to align on requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare procurement reports and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Support compliance with company policies and assist in audits.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in procurement or logistics, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and site operations is an added advantage.
  • Membership with KISM or CIPS is required, or in progress toward certification.
