The Personal Driver will provide secure and efficient transit for the employer, ensuring a seamless daily schedule. Beyond basic navigation, this role demands a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance, the execution of personal errands, and the highest standards of discretion. We are seeking a disciplined individual who excels at route optimization and maintains a polished, professional presence at all times.
Scope of Work
Navigation & Passenger Transit

Facilitate safe travel to all destinations, including corporate offices, social functions, and personal appointments.

Guarantee punctuality through meticulous monitoring of traffic patterns and road conditions.

Leverage local knowledge and digital tools (Google Maps/Waze) to identify the most efficient shortcuts across Nairobi.

Assist with vehicle entry and exit, providing a high-level service experience for the employer.
Automotive Care & Maintenance

Execute mandatory daily checks on fuel, lubricants, tires, and braking systems.

Track and schedule routine mechanical servicing and professional inspections.

Ensure the vehicle remains in a pristine, showroom-clean state, both internally and externally.

Maintain an inventory of in-car essentials, such as refreshments, tissues, and emergency first-aid supplies.
Security & Risk Management

Apply defensive driving protocols to maximize the safety of all passengers.

Adhere strictly to national traffic laws, speed regulations, and municipal ordinances.

Maintain a high level of situational awareness, particularly when transiting through unfamiliar or high-traffic zones.

Safeguard the vehicle at all times, ensuring it is locked and parked in secure locations.
Logistics & Confidential Support

Handle diverse errands, including grocery shopping, document delivery, and baggage handling.

Maintain absolute silence regarding the employer's private conversations, locations, and personal affairs.

Keep precise records of mileage, fuel receipts, and maintenance logs.
Experience & Certification

Background: At least 4 years of professional experience in a personal or corporate driving capacity.

Credentials: Must hold a valid Driving License (Class B, C, E).

Training: Certification in Defensive Driving is highly regarded.

Geography: Expert-level familiarity with Nairobi’s estates, major towns, and road networks.
