Job Summary
The Healthcare Operations Manager will oversee daily hospital operations, implement strategic initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, and the ability to drive performance improvements across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate hospital operations to ensure seamless patient care and administrative processes.
- Develop and implement quality management systems and performance improvement methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance of operational units.
- Foster a culture of integrity, professionalism, and continuous learning among staff.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Operations Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field will be an added advantage.
- At least five (5) years’ progressive management experience, with a minimum of three (3) years in hospital or healthcare operations management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, quality management systems, and performance improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound decision-making ability.
