Role Overview
Our client, a rapidly expanding Internet Service Provider (ISP), is looking for a technically proficient and dependable Network Engineer. In this role, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, tasked with designing, configuring, and maintaining high-performance LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our customer-facing and internal systems remain secure, scalable, and highly available. Key Performance Areas
Infrastructure Engineering & Deployment

Engineer, deploy, and manage scalable ISP infrastructure utilizing fiber, wireless, and radio link technologies.

Build and sustain advanced routing and switching environments, specifically focusing on Cisco and MikroTik hardware.

Strategize and execute network expansions and hardware upgrades to meet growing demand.

Develop detailed network maps and maintain rigorous documentation of configurations and troubleshooting protocols.
Operational Integrity & Maintenance

Proactively monitor network health to guarantee maximum uptime and peak performance.

Rapidly diagnose and remediate network outages, latency spikes, and complex performance bottlenecks.

Execute periodic system maintenance, security patch management, and firmware upgrades.

Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) to streamline incident response and technical resolution cycles.
System Security & Vulnerability Management

Deploy and manage critical security layers, including high-level firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

Enforce adherence to internal security policies and broader industry best practices.

Perform regular vulnerability assessments and proactively mitigate emerging network risks.
Technical Consultation & Support

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for complex connectivity issues.

Partner with enterprise and retail clients to deliver customized connectivity solutions.

Work cross-functionally with field engineers, sales, and technical support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Prerequisites & Technical Profile
Academic & Professional Background

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, specifically within an ISP environment.

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Fiber optic networks, Wireless systems, and Radio links.

Hardware Mastery: Deep experience in configuring and managing Cisco and MikroTik ecosystems.
Preferred Certifications

Cisco Certified: CCNA or CCNP.

Huawei Certified: HCIP.

MikroTik Certified: MTCNA or MTCRE.
