Role Overview
This full-time field sales position places you at the heart of a busy Nairobi dealership off Enterprise Road, where your primary mission is to find and convert buyers for new and used vehicles. Working closely with the Sales Lead, you will manage the entire sales journey from initial prospecting and client consultations to financing approvals and final unit handover. Your success directly expands the dealership's footprint across corporate fleets, institutions, and private buyers, making you a vital driver of monthly revenue and long-term client loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect aggressively for qualified vehicle buyers using field visits, cold calling, corporate networking, and online lead channels to maintain a steady pipeline of opportunities.
- Secure vehicle supply contracts with private companies, government agencies, transport operators, and institutional clients by positioning the dealership as a reliable fleet partner.
- Advise walk-in and online customers on suitable vehicle models, specifications, pricing, and availability while tailoring recommendations to their budgets and usage needs.
- Collaborate with bank asset finance teams to accelerate loan approvals, coordinate release letters, and align disbursement timelines with vehicle delivery schedules.
- Own the end-to-end order process, ensuring vehicles are prepped, registered, and handed over on schedule without avoidable delays.
- Handle inbound phone, email, and social media inquiries promptly, sending accurate quotes and spec sheets to keep prospects engaged.
- Follow up on pending paperwork, active leads, and post-delivery service concerns to prevent drop-offs and generate repeat referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet managers and key decision-makers to anticipate repeat orders and renewals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in sales, business development, or account management, with specific exposure to vehicle sales, fleet sales, or B2B commercial sales.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive field sales quotas.
- Working knowledge of local bank asset financing procedures, loan release processes, and vehicle registration timelines.
- Strong field hunting, cold calling, corporate networking, and deal-closing abilities.
- Persuasive verbal communication, sharp objection handling, and solid client relationship management skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and in the field around Nairobi; candidates residing in or near Industrial Area, South B, South C, or along Mombasa Road are strongly encouraged to apply.
