MEP Procurement Engineer

A leading organization is seeking an experienced MEP Procurement Engineer to support Data Centre projects in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations within large-scale MEP and infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement activities that support project schedules. The position requires strong market knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to maintain quality standards while optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for MEP systems and Data Centre projects

• Source materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers

• Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth procurement operations

• Monitor procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites

• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance

• Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications and company procedures

• Support cost control initiatives while maintaining required quality standards

• Prepare procurement reports, documentation, and purchase records

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and supply chain performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in MEP procurement for Data Centre projects

• Strong understanding of MEP materials, systems, and equipment

• Experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management

• Familiarity with UAE procurement practices and local supplier networks

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously
