Role Overview
This role sits at the centre of our Dubai-based supply chain operation, handling the daily flow of goods from the moment they arrive at our warehouse until they reach dealers and customers. You will keep stock levels accurate, reconcile records against physical inventory, and flag risks before they become disruptions — making sure appliances and electronics move smoothly through our regional distribution network. Your day-to-day work directly supports sales fulfilment, payment cycles, and the trust our partners place in our logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound shipments, warehouse capacity, and all inventory movements to keep stock aligned with demand.
- Prepare daily and periodic reconciliation reports covering stock positions and pending deliveries (PD) to ensure data consistency across systems and physical counts.
- Monitor overstock situations and anticipate potential stock-out risks, escalating issues with proposed corrective actions.
- Process and track logistics-related payments, ensuring invoices, approvals, and settlements move forward without unnecessary delays.
- Manage proof of delivery (POD) documentation — collecting, uploading, verifying, and following up on outstanding records with transporters and customers.
- Liaise with internal departments such as sales, finance, and customer service, as well as external freight and delivery partners, to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound activity, supporting audits and month-end closing with complete documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory control — ideally within a fast-moving commercial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting (including lookups, pivot tables, and formula-based tracking).
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to spot discrepancies, trends, and operational risks from raw data.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise follow-ups effectively.
- Prior experience in a home appliance, consumer electronics, or durable goods company is a distinct advantage.
- Based in Dubai, UAE, or willing to relocate to Dubai for this role.
