Role: Junior Housekeeper

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Junior Housekeeper to join our hospitality team and uphold the visual and hygienic integrity of our facilities. Your primary mission is to ensure that every room, corridor, and common space is sanitized, organized, and inviting. You will play a vital role in guest satisfaction by maintaining meticulous standards in room preparation, linen management, and washroom sanitation. This position demands a high level of reliability, physical endurance, and an uncompromising eye for detail to ensure that our environment remains spotless at all times.

Core Deliverables

Environmental Sanitation & Maintenance

  • Clean and disinfect assigned sectors, including guest rooms, corridors, and high-traffic common areas.

  • Execute daily janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming with precision.

  • Ensure all windows, walls, and furniture are free of debris and maintained to high aesthetic standards.

  • Regularly stock and sanitize washrooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for users.

Room Upkeep & Linen Management

  • Prepare guest beds and change linens, ensuring all bedding is arranged according to service standards.

  • Replace towels and replenish toiletries and other essential supplies promptly.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of assigned areas to report any missing or damaged property.

  • Maintain an organized layout within all spaces to ensure they are consistently presentable.

Safety, Compliance & Coordination

  • Utilize cleaning chemicals and heavy-duty equipment safely, adhering to all SOPs and health regulations.

  • Identify and report maintenance requirements such as leaks, electrical faults, or broken fixtures to supervisors.

  • Monitor inventory levels for cleaning materials and report shortages to prevent service interruptions.

  • Support the wider team during deep-cleaning cycles and assist with laundry operations as needed.

Candidate Background

The Essentials

  • Education: Certificate or basic training in Housekeeping or Hospitality is an added advantage.

  • Domain Expertise: Experience in professional cleaning or a housekeeping role, preferably within a commercial setting.
