Description:
Profound Contracting LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to become part of its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is well suited for candidates who are eager to strengthen their accounting knowledge while working in a fast-paced civil engineering and construction environment.
The selected candidate will support the Finance Department with daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to the smooth execution of financial processes. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and excellent career growth within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash activities.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier account balances.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records and documents.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance Department as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial recordkeeping and bookkeeping practices.
• Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
• Bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
