Description:
DMDC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals who have a strong understanding of accounting principles and are looking to develop their careers in a professional business environment.
The successful candidate will support daily accounting activities, maintain financial records, assist with reporting tasks, and ensure accurate documentation of financial transactions. Candidates currently available in the UAE and able to attend a face-to-face interview will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily accounting operations and financial record maintenance.
• Support preparation of financial reports, statements, and accounting documents.
• Perform data entry, reconciliation, and documentation of financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
• Assist with invoice processing, accounts-related tasks, and administrative support.
• Support the finance team with reporting and other assigned accounting activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of GCC/UAE experience in an accounting role.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• Candidates must be currently available in the UAE for a face-to-face interview.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Basic accounting procedures and financial documentation.
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Account reconciliation, record keeping, and financial reporting.
