Accountant – Precious Metals Trading

We are urgently hiring an Accountant with experience in the gold/precious metals trading industry. The ideal candidate must have a background in accounting practices related to the precious metals field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, depreciation, and prepayments
• Support the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monitoring daily cash flow
• Help ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT requirements, and company financial policies
• Record and process transactions related to gold, silver, and other precious metals accurately
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation and reports
• Maintain proper financial records and support the implementation of internal controls and accounting procedures
• Coordinate with traders and operations teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and market-related activities
• Prepare routine financial reports and assist management with financial analysis and reporting
• Perform general accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by senior accountants or the finance manager
