Applicants should:
Hold relevant academic qualifications (Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s depending on the role).
Possess valid professional licenses and registration with relevant Kenyan regulatory bodies (e.g., Nursing Council of Kenya, Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, Pharmacy and Poisons Board).
Have prior experience in clinical practice, healthcare delivery, medical technology, or public health services.
Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and patient‑care skills.
Be familiar with county healthcare systems, public health frameworks, and compliance standards.
Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with Machakos County’s mission of delivering quality healthcare and public service.
Role‑specific expectations:
Medical Specialists (Radiologist, Psychiatrist, Sonographer): Provide advanced diagnostics, treatment, and specialized care.
Nurses, Clinical Officers, Technologists: Deliver frontline healthcare services and technical support.
Support Staff & Drivers: Ensure operational efficiency and service delivery.
