IT Support Executive

Role Overview

The IT Support Executive keeps the organisation’s workplace technology available and dependable, supporting employees while maintaining office systems and network services. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with routine administration of user accounts, connectivity, security controls and backups, helping staff carry out their daily work with fewer technical interruptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain office IT equipment, infrastructure and network services, and monitor them for performance or availability issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and operating-system problems reported by employees.
• Set up and administer email accounts, Wi-Fi access and user permissions.
• Apply cybersecurity practices and carry out regular data backup procedures to support system and information security.
• Respond to staff questions and provide practical guidance on using workplace technology and Microsoft Office applications.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers when issues or maintenance needs require additional support.
• Follow up on technical faults to restore service promptly and maintain reliable day-to-day IT operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant IT experience in the UAE.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline is indicated for the role.
• Working knowledge of computer networking and IT infrastructure management.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware, software and system issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, cybersecurity practices and data backups.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support multiple users.
• Able to work independently and help maintain secure, dependable IT systems.
