HSE Manager / HSE Officer

Role Overview

CCECC is recruiting HSE Managers and HSE Officers for construction work on the Al Maktoum International Airport project in Dubai. These professionals will help project teams identify hazards, meet UAE safety requirements, and maintain safe working practices across active construction areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Put project HSE plans, procedures, and controls into practice, and track whether they are being followed.
• Inspect work areas and carry out safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective action.
• Review method statements and check planned work against UAE regulations and project safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant teams.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training tailored to the work taking place on site.
• Observe construction activities and raise concerns when work does not meet health, safety, or environmental standards.
• Prepare HSE reports and work with project staff to address safety issues and monitor resolutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant experience in airport or terminal projects, major building works, or other large-scale construction projects in the UAE.
• Experience with piling, foundation work, or reinforced concrete structures is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, construction safety practices, and project-specific compliance requirements.
• Practical capability in risk assessment, method statement review, site inspection, safety auditing, and incident investigation.
• Ability to implement HSE plans, lead toolbox talks, and monitor safe work practices on site.
• Clear communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• A degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline is listed as an estimated qualification.
