Description:
Al Bayader International is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Group Costing Manager to lead product costing, budgeting, manufacturing finance, and profitability analysis across its manufacturing operations in Sharjah. This role is ideal for a qualified CA or CMA professional with strong expertise in cost management and financial planning within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving cost optimization, improving financial performance, and supporting business decisions through accurate costing models, variance analysis, and profitability insights. Candidates with factory-based experience in Food Packaging, FMCG, Plastics, Paper, or Flexible Packaging industries are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead product costing activities and ensure accurate cost calculations across manufacturing operations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability performance.
• Develop and maintain standard costing models, BOMs, and routing structures.
• Monitor inventory accounting and manufacturing finance processes.
• Provide financial insights to support cost optimization and business strategies.
• Prepare profitability analysis and support management decision-making.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve operational and financial efficiency.
Requirements:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing finance, costing, and budgeting.
• Strong factory-based experience, preferably within Food Packaging, FMCG, Plastics, Paper, or Flexible Packaging industries.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI experience will be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Standard costing and cost optimization
• BOMs, routing structures, and variance analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Inventory and manufacturing accounting
• Product profitability analysis
