Role Overview
This is an entry-level opening for a recent graduate who is ready to move from academic theory into hands-on delivery. The person in this role supports the day-to-day running of the team, takes ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish, and grows into increasing responsibility as their understanding of the work deepens. Because the position sits close to the team's core operations, reliability, follow-through and a genuine willingness to learn matter as much as the degree itself.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned day-to-day tasks accurately and within agreed timelines, asking questions early rather than guessing.
- Support senior colleagues with research, preparation, documentation and follow-up work on ongoing projects.
- Maintain orderly records, files and reports so that information is easy to retrieve and audit.
- Communicate clearly with team members and other stakeholders through written updates, calls and in-person discussions.
- Track the status of your own work and report progress, blockers and completed items to your supervisor.
- Take part in training, briefings and team meetings, and apply what you learn to the next piece of work.
- Coordinate with colleagues across functions to gather inputs, resolve small issues and keep tasks moving.
- Handle routine enquiries and administrative duties that keep the team's workflow uninterrupted.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, completed at First Class or Upper Second Class honours level.
- KCSE certificate with a minimum mean grade of B Plain.
- Aged below 26 years at the time of application.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly to different audiences.
- Good interpersonal skills and comfort working closely with a range of personalities.
- Demonstrated ambition and a real appetite for learning new skills and taking on feedback.
- Self-motivation and the discipline to deliver quality work within a team setting and with minimal supervision.
- Prior full-time work experience is not essential; internships, attachments or volunteer roles are a plus.
