Strategic Planning & Performance Analysis
Formulate and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with long-term organizational goals.
Direct the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing accurate long-term financial projections.
Analyze key business drivers and financial variances to recommend strategies for enhanced operational efficiency.
Advise the Board and senior management on fiscal performance, investment opportunities, and strategic maneuvers.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Oversee the preparation of all financial statements and management reports in strict accordance with IFRS.
Ensure 100% adherence to Kenyan tax regulations and all relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.
Design and monitor robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Lead internal and external audit processes, proactively implementing recommendations to mitigate financial risk.
Treasury & Operational Oversight
Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning to ensure optimal working capital levels.
Oversee all treasury operations and maintain strong, productive relationships with banking partners.
Supervise the cost accounting function, ensuring deep visibility into manufacturing cost structures and margins.
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Education & Academic Background
Undergraduate: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Postgraduate: Master’s Degree in a Business-related field (MBA Finance preferred).
Professional: CPA (K) or ACCA (fully qualified).
Experience & Expertise
Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management.
Sector Knowledge: Substantial experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, Kenyan tax laws, and manufacturing-specific financial controls.
Critical Leadership Skills
