Description:
Al Fakhama Trading is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of multiple companies operating across Asia and Europe. This position is ideal for a finance professional with extensive international experience who can effectively manage multi-entity financial operations, cross-border reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Based in Dubai, this role requires regular international travel and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic global business environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial governance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Preference will be given to European nationals as stated by the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the financial operations of multiple trading companies across Asia and Europe.
• Supervise financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting obligations.
• Develop and maintain strong financial governance, internal controls, and reporting systems.
• Oversee cross-border financial structures, intercompany transactions, and multi-entity financial operations.
• Coordinate with finance teams and external advisors across different countries.
• Work closely with auditors, banking partners, legal consultants, and tax advisors.
• Travel internationally to review financial operations and support business activities.
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing financial operations across multiple companies or legal entities.
• Strong background in cross-border finance, international compliance, and multi-jurisdictional reporting.
• Previous experience within trading companies, international business groups, or holding companies is highly preferred.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA is required.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Currently based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
