Description:
Rydberg Consultants is seeking an experienced Finance Controller for a Dubai-based opportunity. This position is ideal for a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and administrative operations. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization by strengthening financial controls and improving operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will oversee financial management, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal control processes while supporting strategic business objectives. Applicants with experience in trading companies and exposure to UAE, GCC, or international business environments will have a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management information.
• Develop and strengthen financial policies, controls, and operational processes.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support business growth through effective financial planning and strategic analysis.
• Coordinate with senior management to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• 12–14 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in a trading company is preferred.
• Strong background in finance, accounting, and administration.
• UAE, GCC, or international experience will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to establish and improve finance processes within a growing organization.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and analysis.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Internal controls and financial governance.
• Accounting standards and finance process improvement.
