EYFS & Primary Homeroom Teachers

Role Overview

Beaconhouse Private School – Al Ain is seeking EYFS and Primary Homeroom Teachers to join its teaching team in January 2027. In this full-time role, you will plan and deliver age-appropriate learning, track each pupil’s progress, and create a classroom where children feel supported and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach engaging lessons suited to the needs and developmental stage of EYFS or Primary pupils.
• Establish a safe, inclusive classroom that supports participation, confidence, and learning.
• Plan learning activities in line with relevant curriculum expectations, including British Curriculum practices where applicable.
• Assess pupil understanding and monitor progress to identify achievements and areas needing further support.
• Use effective classroom management and communication to keep pupils engaged and learning productively.
• Work with fellow teachers, school leaders, and parents to support pupils’ academic and personal development.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a relevant subject, together with a recognised teaching qualification.
• UAE Equivalency Certificate; this is mandatory.
• Relevant teaching experience in EYFS or Primary Education.
• Experience with the British Curriculum is preferred, including familiarity with its standards and classroom practices.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging, inclusive learning experiences and maintain a supportive classroom environment.
• Candidates currently living in the UAE and available to start in January 2027 will receive preference.
