Role Overview
Oversee the electrical section during your shift, keeping equipment and staff working safely and efficiently toward operational targets. Accurate records and clear coordination with other shift leads help maintain continuity across the plant, particularly in a busy milling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor electrical-section operations throughout the shift and address issues that could affect production targets.
- Organize and direct staff and equipment to support efficient day-to-day work.
- Record operating parameters and relevant events in the shift log book.
- Communicate operational updates clearly to both incoming and outgoing teams.
- Coordinate with shift supervisors from other sections to support smooth plant operations.
- Carry out duties in accordance with company rules and procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least five years of experience working as an electrician in a busy operation.
- More than five years of relevant experience is preferred, particularly in a milling plant.
