Qualifications
- KCSE Certificate
- For appointment to this grade, an applicant must have: -
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade D+;
- Valid driving license; (iii) Suitability test for driver grade III conducted by the Ministry of Roads and Public Works;
- Defensive driving certificate from Automobile Association of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Occupational Trade Test III conducted by the Ministry of Roads and Public works;
- First Aid lasting not less than one (1) week within every three years at the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
- Annual certificate of eye examination;
- Certificate of Good Conduct; and
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
