Job Description
- To ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery of company products to customers, distributors, or retail outlets while maintaining professional customer service and proper vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers, shops, warehouses, or distribution points within agreed timelines.
- Load, secure, and offload goods carefully to prevent damage or shortages.
- Verify delivery orders, collect proof of delivery, and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Maintain regular communication with the supervisor, sales team, or dispatch office.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, report faults, and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
- Observe traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards at all times.
- Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
Qualifications
- KCSE/Form Four certificate or equivalent is commonly expected.
- Valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle class, often Class B, BCE.
- Proven experience of more than 5 years in delivery, logistics, or driving.
- Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and surrounding routes is an advantage.
- Good communication skills, honesty, reliability, and customer service orientation.
