Role Overview
As a driver, you will transport people or goods safely and reliably, using your knowledge of Nairobi and nearby areas to plan practical journeys. Your care, professionalism and attention to vehicle condition will help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes safely and follow applicable traffic rules.
- Use local knowledge to navigate Nairobi and its environs efficiently.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks before use and monitor the vehicle during operation.
- Report faults, damage or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with passengers, colleagues or other relevant contacts.
- Maintain a reliable, disciplined approach to assigned duties and schedules.
- Work flexible hours when operational needs require.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Kenyan driving licence for Class B or the appropriate vehicle class.
- Demonstrated experience driving in a comparable role.
- Good knowledge of Nairobi and surrounding areas.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and identify issues that need attention.
- Professional conduct, reliability, discipline and strong integrity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
