AMSA Healthcare is seeking a qualified and dedicated Dialysis Technologist to become part of its professional dialysis team in Ras Al Khaimah. The selected candidate will play an essential role in delivering safe and efficient dialysis treatments while ensuring patients receive high-quality care throughout every procedure.
The ideal applicant will be responsible for preparing and operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. A strong commitment to patient safety, infection control, and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and manage hemodialysis machines and related equipment.
• Prepare dialysis machines, consumables, and treatment stations before each session.
• Observe patients and dialysis treatment parameters, reporting any irregularities promptly.
• Follow infection prevention measures and hospital safety standards at all times.
• Perform routine cleaning, disinfection, and basic maintenance of dialysis equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient treatment records and required documentation.
• Assist in identifying and resolving dialysis machine or equipment issues.
• Handle and dispose of medical waste and used dialysis materials according to healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective dialysis procedures.
• Comply with all applicable MOH/UAE healthcare regulations, policies, and clinical protocols.
• Ensure the dialysis unit remains clean, organized, and fully operational.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Dialysis Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology, or a related field.
• Valid MOH License or MOH Eligibility is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a dialysis center or hospital is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hemodialysis procedures and dialysis equipment.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Infection prevention and control practices.
• Dialysis machine operation and troubleshooting.
• UAE healthcare regulations and clinical protocols.
