Job Description

Role Overview

You will be responsible for identifying and converting potential borrowers who need secured loans against their vehicle logbook, property title deed, or salary check-off. Day-to-day activities include cold outreach, product explanation, document collection, and follow-up to meet monthly disbursement targets. Your efforts directly drive loan origination volume for the branch, making you a key contributor to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source new loan applicants through field visits, referrals, and phone calls for logbook, title deed, and check-off products.
  • Explain loan terms, interest rates, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements clearly to prospects.
  • Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all required documents (e.g., logbook, valuation reports, salary letters) are complete and accurate.
  • Verify client eligibility by reviewing credit history, collateral value, and repayment capacity.
  • Follow up with applicants throughout underwriting and approval stages to maintain engagement and close loans.
  • Maintain a daily pipeline of leads in the CRM system and provide weekly progress reports to the sales manager.
  • Collaborate with credit and operations teams to resolve documentation issues and expedite disbursements.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma in any field from a recognised institution.
  • Prior experience in sales is an added advantage; fresh graduates with a strong drive will be considered.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Willingness to learn and actively drive sales specifically for logbook, title deed, and check-off loan products.
  • Excellent verbal communication and persuasion skills.
  • Basic numeracy for calculating loan amounts and repayments.
  • Own means of transport (e.g., motorcycle or bicycle) is an added advantage for field visits.
