A growing organization in Abu Dhabi is expanding its finance team and is seeking experienced accounting professionals for the positions of Chief Accountant and Senior Accountant. These opportunities are ideal for candidates with a strong background in the construction or contracting industry who are looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in managing financial operations, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial objectives. Immediate joiners with excellent technical and analytical skills are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage financial records, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Support budgeting, taxation, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support efficient financial operations.
• Lead and supervise accounting activities (Chief Accountant role).
Requirements:
• Proven accounting experience within the construction or contracting industry.
• Previous experience leading an accounting team is required for the Chief Accountant position.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounting standards.
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
