Job Description
Role Overview
As a Business Process Specialist at Nestlé, you will act as the link between production operations and digital process integrity, ensuring every production order is correctly handled from start to finish. Your focus is on keeping SAP data accurate, stock levels trustworthy, and factory processes aligned with GLOBE and T&P standards. This role matters because poor manufacturing data or misplaced inventory creates costly disruptions across the supply chain, so your daily attention to detail protects production efficiency and reliable reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor process orders throughout their lifecycle, including creation, confirmation, and closure in SAP.
- Record and verify production system transactions, ensuring that downtime, output quantities, and material consumption are accurately captured in real time.
- Maintain stock integrity by overseeing inventory movements, performing stock reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies between physical and system counts.
- Analyse stock variances and production data to identify root causes, then recommend corrective actions to maintain data reliability.
- Enforce compliance with GLOBE and T&P process standards across factory administration activities and documentation.
- Train production and warehouse end users on SAP transactions, process workflows, and data-entry best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing process bottlenecks, proposing simplification opportunities, and helping implement changes.
- Collaborate with planning, production, and quality teams to resolve order-related issues and ensure seamless end-to-end execution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- NQF Level 5 qualification or a Diploma in Production Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working with SAP in a factory environment, including familiarity with production orders, material movements, and inventory transactions.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end factory processes, from planning and execution to completion and dispatch.
- Proven ability to support production administration and stock management, including reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting production data, spotting errors, and recommending pragmatic fixes.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to handle multiple process orders and competing priorities.
- Clear communication skills to train end users and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
