Role Overview
This position blends commercial ownership with hands-on operational support. You will be responsible for growing revenue across a defined portfolio of accounts or territory, while also keeping the execution office running accurately — from registering inspection results and chasing outstanding licences to ensuring every completed job is invoiced correctly. The role matters because revenue growth only holds up when the back office behind it is precise; a missed registration, a delayed invoice or a stalled file directly erodes client trust and margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the sales strategy for your assigned accounts or region, translating it into concrete plans and actions that increase revenue.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and qualify them against the company's service offering.
- Build and sustain client relationships by anticipating needs and concerns, then recommending the most suitable solutions and converting those conversations into sales opportunities.
- Produce presentations, quotations, service agreements and tender submissions, delivering each within the deadlines set.
- Research the market and competing providers, and use those findings to sharpen proposals and commercial positioning.
- Keep the customer database accurate and current, capturing telephone, direct mail, email and networking contact details.
- Oversee inspection coordination for the assigned country, area or region — verifying that results reported by inspectors are registered correctly and following up on outstanding file requirements, registrations and licences.
- Ensure all executed jobs are invoiced accurately and on time, act as the customer service point of contact for the execution office, and monitor inspector key performance indicators.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or an equivalent field.
- Practical, hands-on sales experience.
- Knowledge of inspection procedures, developed through the company's internal training programme.
- Excellent customer service skills and a client-facing manner.
- Working knowledge of international trade and regulatory compliance.
- Comfort operating to fixed deadlines across quotations, tenders and service agreements.
What We Offer / Why Join
- Structured internal training on inspection procedures, so you can build technical fluency even without a prior inspection background.
- Exposure across both the commercial and operational sides of the business, giving you a broad view of how services are sold, delivered and accounted for.
- Direct engagement with international trade and regulatory compliance matters as part of your day-to-day work.
