AVLU The Palm is inviting passionate and service-oriented professionals to join its pre-opening team as a Barman in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who thrive in upscale hospitality environments and are committed to delivering memorable guest experiences through exceptional beverage service.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and professionalism. You will play an important role in creating an outstanding dining experience and supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Deliver professional and friendly service while creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of bar hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
• Ensure the bar remains organized, fully stocked, and operational throughout service.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices at all times.
• Engage with guests professionally and respond to their beverage preferences and requests.
• Support the restaurant service team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Maintain consistency and quality in every beverage served.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barman or Bartender, preferably in an upscale, premium casual, or fine-dining restaurant.
• Good knowledge of alcoholic beverages, classic cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and basic mixology.
• Ability to prepare beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service, bar hygiene, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Well-presented, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Experience in upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, premium bars, or international hospitality brands is an advantage.
