- Conduct annual risk assessments across business units and develop a responsive audit plan that reflects current and emerging exposure areas.
- Evaluate physical and electronic records against internal control policies to identify compliance gaps, control weaknesses, and operational inefficiencies.
- Prepare clear, evidence-based audit reports and deliver post-audit briefings to branch managers and functional leaders, ensuring agreed action plans are implemented and tracked.
- Provide quarterly updates to the Audit Committee on monitoring activities, emerging risks, and control deficiencies, alongside monthly reporting on audit progress, efficiency improvements, and fraud prevention measures.
- Collaborate with HR to build and promote anti-fraud reporting mechanisms that encourage employees to report suspected misconduct without fear of retaliation.
- Analyze and interpret accounting documents to substantiate audit conclusions, and recommend process improvements based on findings.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a master's degree is an added advantage.

- Unquestioned personal integrity, independence, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Effective analytical and critical-thinking skills to assess processes, challenge the status quo, and articulate issues and solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and remain organized, resilient, and focused under pressure.
