Assistant Procurement Officer

A reputable interior decoration and fit-out company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Officer with experience in the fit-out or construction industry. The ideal candidate will support procurement activities by sourcing materials, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of project requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate with project teams, negotiate with vendors, manage purchase orders, and maintain procurement records. This role offers an opportunity to work on exciting interior fit-out projects within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase fit-out materials including joinery, MEP items, finishes, furniture, and other project requirements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in the UAE fit-out industry.

• Prepare and process purchase orders according to project schedules and budgets.

• Review supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and ensure cost-effective procurement.

• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and design departments to identify material and equipment requirements.

• Track deliveries, ensure timely supply to project sites, and resolve procurement-related issues.

• Maintain updated supplier databases, pricing records, and procurement history.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.

• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in interior decoration, fit-out, or construction industry is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and UAE-based suppliers/vendors.

• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

• Immediate availability is preferred.
