Description:
ACC – Arabian Construction Company is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with a solid background in accounts payable, invoice processing, and financial record management who are seeking to advance their careers with a leading construction organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate payment processing, maintaining vendor accounts, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the finance department. Candidates with previous construction industry experience will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities.
• Process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure accounting records are complete and up to date.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding payment-related matters.
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Assist with audit requirements and maintain proper documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable and invoice processing.
• Knowledge of vendor reconciliations and payment processing.
• Strong understanding of financial record management.
• Construction industry experience will be an advantage.
• Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
