Ai/Ml Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer in ADG’s Data and AI practice, you’ll design and deliver production-ready machine learning and generative AI solutions for customer projects and internal needs. You’ll combine hands-on engineering with an understanding of business goals, helping teams turn complex challenges into measurable outcomes while raising technical capability across the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, deploy, and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines in production environments.
• Choose and apply suitable classical machine learning and deep learning methods, training approaches, and evaluation metrics.
• Develop solutions using generative AI, large language models, and related tools to address current business problems.
• Work with customers and colleagues to clarify requirements and shape technical approaches around practical business outcomes and return on investment.
• Contribute to technical discussions and lead delivery of complex AI and machine learning work.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer services, architectures, and internal systems, then take initiative to advance those improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the continued development of the Data and AI practice.
• Keep your expertise current with evolving AI technologies and the cloud platforms used across customer engagements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 7 years of industry experience in AI/ML engineering, data engineering, and architecture.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related equivalent qualification, or significant demonstrated industry experience.
• Practical experience designing, building, and deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines in production.
• Strong working knowledge of machine learning training processes, classical and deep learning algorithms, and data preparation.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and associated tooling.
• Advanced Python skills and experience with at least one major cloud provider: Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Ability to listen carefully, understand complex business needs, and develop technical solutions with clear potential to deliver value.
