Description:
A to Z Car Rental is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to support its finance operations in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in billing, collections, and accounts receivable who can ensure accurate financial records and timely customer payments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, following up on overdue payments, and managing traffic fines, Salik charges, parking fees, and other vehicle-related expenses. The role also involves working closely with internal departments to maintain smooth billing and collection processes while contributing to month-end accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and overdue payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain updated customer aging reports.
• Verify, process, and invoice traffic fines, Salik charges, parking fees, and other vehicle-related penalties.
• Ensure timely collection of payments related to traffic fines and associated charges.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Operations, and Fleet teams to resolve billing-related matters.
• Record customer payments and keep accounting records up to date.
• Support month-end closing activities and assist with other accounting responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, with UAE experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable, and payment follow-ups.
• Experience handling traffic fines, Salik charges, and fleet-related billing will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

• Billing and Accounts Receivable Processes.
• Traffic Fine, Salik, and Fleet Billing Management.
• Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software.
