Accountant

ROR Coffee Solutions L.L.C. and Coffeedesk General Trading L.L.C. are leading companies in the specialty coffee industry, providing premium coffee roasting solutions, coffee equipment, and related services across the UAE. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor customer collections and supplier payments.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory-related accounting records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CA, or CPA is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (ERPNext experience is an advantage).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
