Description:

IDT Trading is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with solid UAE accounting experience who can efficiently manage daily financial operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, managing budgeting activities, and supporting financial operations. Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and a good understanding of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and other ad hoc reports to support business requirements.

• Compile, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements.

• Prepare and file tax-related documents in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Perform daily accounting functions and provide support to the finance team.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
