Accountant – Real Estate Sector
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
AED 25,00 – AED 5,000 per month (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Permanent
About the Role
We are hiring a qualified Accountant in the Dubai real estate sector. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, VAT compliance, and Corporate Tax (CT) requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to property sales, leasing, and brokerage transactions
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including commission calculations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle full VAT compliance (calculation, filing, documentation, and reconciliation)
- Manage UAE Corporate Tax (CT) computations, reporting, and compliance
- Ensure full compliance with UAE AML regulations, including:
- Monitoring and reporting suspicious transactions
- Maintaining AML documentation and records
- Coordinating with relevant regulatory authorities when required
- Perform bank and escrow reconciliations
- Support audit processes and regulatory inspections
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with UAE real estate laws and financial regulations
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of UAE AML laws and reporting procedures
- Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax (CT) regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) will be an added advantage.
