Vision Middle East is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with FMCG industry experience who have a strong background in accounting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and ERP systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, supporting tax compliance, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring adherence to UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record purchase transactions accurately in the ERP system across the group.
• Verify and post supplier invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Carry out daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow up on customer payments to support healthy cash flow.
• Reconcile inventory records across the group.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns.
• Provide support on corporate tax-related matters when required.
• Utilize ERP systems to improve accounting processes.
• Assist with import-export logistics documentation, including bills of lading, customs clearance, and freight coordination.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and filing procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and account reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of corporate tax is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of import-export logistics processes and documentation is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and follow-up skills.
